Not at all. We take care of the domain, hosting, SSL, analytics setup, and everything else. If you can send an email, you have everything you need to work with us.
It depends on the package and how quickly content and feedback come back to us. You'll see a first design concept within 2–4 business days. From there, a Starter one-page site typically launches in about 1–2 weeks, a Business site (up to 5 pages) in about 2–3 weeks, and a Professional site (up to 7 pages, done-for-you) in about 3–4 weeks. These estimates cover active build time and don't count time spent waiting on materials, approvals, or your feedback — your project moves as fast as we hear from you. If you'd like us to handle the writing, that's included in Professional or available as a copywriting add-on.
A logo (if you have one), any photos of your business or team you'd like to use, and the text for your pages — or we can write it for you as a separate add-on. That's it. We handle the rest.
Yes — fully. You own the domain, the files, and all associated accounts. If you ever want to move to a different developer or bring things in-house, we transfer everything within 14 business days, at no charge and with no conditions. There's no lock-in.
The first 30 days of post-launch support are included with every package (60 days on Professional). This covers any bugs, display issues, or small adjustments that come up once the site is live. After that, you can request changes as needed at $95/hour (1-hour minimum), or take a Monthly Site Care plan at $120/month, which includes up to 1 hour of updates.
Yes. We work with small businesses across the United States and Canada, entirely remotely. Communication happens over email and video calls — no in-person meetings required, so your location is never a barrier.
The same packages apply. We rebuild your site from scratch in clean code. Your domain stays the same, and any existing search traffic carries over to the new site. The process is identical to building a new site — we just already know where you're starting from.
AI builders are great for getting something online fast — but "online" and "getting customers" aren't the same thing. An auto-generated site rarely says anything specific about your business, and it won't set up the local SEO that gets you found when nearby customers search. We build a custom site designed around your brand, written to convert, and optimized to show up on Google — and we handle all of it, so you stay focused on running your business instead of dragging boxes around a screen.
WordPress works for a lot of things — but for a small business website, it introduces unnecessary complexity. WordPress sites rely on plugins that need constant updating, themes that can conflict, and a database that adds load time. Hand-written static sites load faster, rank better in search, and don't break when something updates. For what our clients need, clean code is simply the better choice.
You can cancel at any time — there are no long-term contracts. If you cancel, your site keeps running; you just take over responsibility for hosting and domain renewal. We'll provide clear instructions for anything you need to manage going forward.
